Studying the Labour, Human Health and Environment of the E-waste Management Sector in China

The project of Studying the Labour, Human Health and Environment of the E-waste Management Sector in China is being undertaken by BCRC China with cooperation of Chinese Academy of Safety Science and Technology (CASST), and will be finished in the end of 2011. This project is funded by ILO Country Office for China and Mongolia (CO-Beijing). It aims  know about the , general situation of the labour, human health and environmental dimensions of the e-waste management sector in China, to promote management levels in process of e-waste collection and disposal, and make a preparation for the potential project proposal in the future.

A group of 11 persons from BCRC China, CO-Beijing and CASST visited the Huaxinlvyuan Environmental Protection Development Co.Ltd, and had a communication with the enterprise delegates in respects of e-waste collection, disassembly, disposal technology and labour safety on 15 December, 2011.
