On April 1, 2021, the signing ceremony of "International publishing promotion project of China's Zerowaste cities construction", between the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific (BCRC China) and Henan Science and Technology Press (HNSTP), was successfully held in Beijing. More than 50 experts and scholars from the national and local ecological environment systems attended the signing ceremony. The ceremony was hosted by Ms. Zhao Nana, assistant director of BCRC China. Mr. Li Xiaosheng, associate editor of HNSTP and Prof. Li Jinhui, executive director of BCRC China introduced the background, activities and next step of the project respectively. Then Wang Dakai, editor of HNSTP and Prof. Li Jinhui signed the memorandum of understanding (MOU). This project is the continuous cooperation between BCRC China and HNSTP of the cooperation on promoting broadcast of “Handbook of Emergency Disposal and Management of Medical Waste in China” in 2020. According to the MOU, BCRC China and HNSTP will cooperate on preparing and publishing series of books on the theme of Zero-waste cities to promote China's experience and practices on "Zero-waste cities" construction.
