Project name：The Belt and Road Training Program on “Zero-Waste City” and Carbon Neutrality

Project Introduction:

The training lasted 10 days online. More than 30 people were invited from government officials of management departments of 12 countries including  Romania, Afghanistan, Thailand, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Jordan, Indonesia, Viet Nam, Pakistan and Israel, as well as representatives from BCRC Egypt, BCRC Argentina, BCRC Russia and BCRC Africa. The training included opening ceremony, classroom teaching, group discussion and closing ceremony, etc. More than 20 domestic and foreign experts were invited to give lectures on policy management, current situation and future development trend of zero-waste city construction, carbon neutralization, plastic pollution control, mercury pollution control and new pollutant control. The training help further forge cooperative relations between China and developing countries in the Asia-pacific region and facilitate exchanges in the field of waste and chemicals pollution prevention and control.
