Recently, Nanning City issued the "Implementation Plan for the Construction of 'Zero Waste City' in the 14th Five-Year Plan Period" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan"), aiming to comprehensively advance the construction of "Zero Waste City". The "Plan" specifies that by 2025, Nanning City will gradually reduce the intensity of industrial solid waste, household waste, construction waste, and agricultural waste generation, improve the level of comprehensive utilization, basically fill the gap in regional disposal facilities, and achieve obvious synergistic effects in pollution reduction, carbon reduction, and efficiency enhancement. It aims to establish an information network integrating the generation, collection, transportation, utilization, and disposal of solid waste, gain wide recognition for the concept of "Zero Waste", significantly enhance the solid waste management system and capacity, and steadily improve public satisfaction. Nanning City will gradually form an experiential model for the construction and management of "Zero Waste Nanning".
