Waste phones refer to the mobile communication handsets in the Catalogue of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipments published by China in 2014, including GSM handsets, CDMA handsets, SCDMA handsets, 3G handsets, 4G handsets, PHS and other handheld handsets, a device that transmits or receives two-place speech or sound, image, and data through electromagnetic waves of a cellular network, excluding accessories such as chargers and earphones.

Waste phone treatment and disposal technology refers to the use of manual, mechanical and other methods to separate the materials or components in the dismantling process of discarded mobile phones to form dismantling products such as materials or components. Ensure that the materials or components produced from dismantling are managed in accordance with environmental requirements and recycled to the greatest extent possible.

 

During the storage and dismantling of discarded mobile phones, damage or leakage should be prevented, and harmful substances should be prevented from entering the air, water or soil and other environments.

The dismantling production line should be equipped with the following facilities:

-Pollution control system.

-Emergency shutdown system (emergency braking).

-Fire extinguishing equipment matched with the equipment.

Other safety and environmental protection equipment identified by the business as required.
