Prof. Chen Mengjun has long been engaged in research on solid waste pollution control and recycling. He has won 2 provincial/ministerial awards, presided over more than 10 national/provincial/ministerial projects including 3 National Natural Science Foundation of China, published more than 60 papers in EST and other TOP journals as the first author/corresponding author. He has authorized 8 patents, 2 PCTs, edited t "Principles of Solid Waste Recycling", and participated in 2 group standards. He is also an editorial board member of "Circular Economy", executive deputy director of the Key Laboratory of Solid Waste Treatment and Recycling, Ministry of Education, deputy secretary-general of the Solid Waste Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and vice president of the Electronic Product Recycling Branch of the China National Resource Recycling Association.
