Xiangping CHEN, Ph.D., professor, doctoral supervisor. His main research fields include non-ferrous metal secondary resource recycling, hydrometallurgy, resource environment chemical process, etc. He received his undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees from Ocean University of China and Central South University, respectively. He is a Research Fellow of Nanyang Technological University; a member of the American Chemical Society, a member of the Chinese Environmental Society, and a member of the China Nonferrous Metals Society. He also serves as a member of the Environmental Protection Branch of the China Nonferrous Metals Society, and an expert in the chemical and waste environmental management think tank of the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific. He presided over many national/provincial and ministerial-level projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Major Water Project. He has published more than 30 papers and applied for more than 10 patents. He also serves as the youth editorial board member of the Chinese Journal of Nonferrous Metals (Chinese and English editions). He has won the "Outstanding Youth Award" of the China Nonferrous Metals Society, the 14th Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Outstanding Academic Paper, and the "Eni Award 2019" nomination award.
