Location: Rome, Italy The eighteenth meeting of the Stockholm Convention Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC-18) will be held at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) from 26 to 30 September 2022, back to back with the meeting of the Rotterdam Convention Chemical Review Committee. The meeting is open to Parties to the Stockholm Convention and observers, including Stockholm Convention Official Contact Points, regional centres and Bodies and agencies admitted as observers to the meetings of the Stockholm Convention bodies (registration required).

POPRC-18 will focus on the following chemicals, amongst other issues:

Consideration of draft risk management evaluations of Dechlorane Plus and UV-328;

Consideration of draft risk profiles of Chlorpyrifos, Chlorinated paraffins with carbon chain lengths in the range C14–17 and chlorination levels at or exceeding 45 per cent chlorine by weight, and long-chain perfluorocarboxylic acids, their salts and related compounds.
