Highlights: At its tenth meeting, the Conference of the Parties welcomed the updated guidance on the global monitoring plan for persistent organic pollutants set out in document UNEP/POPS/COP.10/INF/42. In the third report of the global monitoring plan, the global coordination noted that the guidance should be continuously updated to cover newly listed POPs and other relevant issues, including further streamlining of its content and maintaining updated information on existing and well-established sampling procedures to further support data harmonization and use.
