In order to implement “Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China”, to protect the environment and safeguard human health, “Technical Specifications onthe Pollution Control of Waste Lead-acid Battery Treatment " was approved asthe national environmental protection standards by MEP, andimplemented sinceMarch 1st, 2010. This standard formulated the pollution prevention in the process of waste lead-acid battery collection, storage, transport and resources utilization and the management requirement of the lead recycling enterprise operation.
