2020年8月，亚太中心向挪威驻北京大使馆提交的“中挪合作——海洋废塑料及微塑料管理能力建设”（以下简称“中挪项目”）项目启动报告及2019年项目进展报告顺利通过验收。
项目启动报告主要从项目背景、项目成果框架、项目活动及时间安排、合作伙伴及角色分工、项目预算等方面进行介绍。项目进展报告包括项目活动报告和财务报告，主要介绍了2019年工作进展及已取得成果、执行偏差及风险管理、财务决算等。启动报告获批是项目实施的重要里程碑，标志着中挪项目进入全面启动与实施阶段。
In August, 2020, the inception report and progress report of "Sino-Norwegian cooperation project on capacity building for reducing plastic and microplastic pollution(SINOPLAST) " submitted by the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific/Stockholm Convention Regional Center for Capacity-building and the Transfer of Technology in Asia and the Pacific (BCRC China/SCRCAP) were approved by the Norwegian Embassy in Beijing. The inception report mainly introduced the project background, result framework, project activities and time schedule, stakeholders and partners, and detailed budget. The progress report mainly reviewed the progress and outputs achieved in 2019.The approval of the inception report is a significant milestone of the implementation of SINOPLAST, marking the project enter the stage of full start-up and implementation.
