亚太中心区域化学品管理室主任陈源博士在会上介绍了由亚太中心执行的中挪合作海洋废塑料及微塑料管理能力建设项目，挪威环境参赞Christoffer Grønstad对于亚太中心所做工作表示极大赞赏，祝贺项目2020年度进展报告和财务报告已顺利通过验收，并针对亚太中心对于国内外环境保护工作做出的巨大贡献表示肯定。亚太中心区域化学品管理室林微雨一同参加了此次会议。

 

On October 22, 2021, BCRC China/SCRCAP participated in Norway China Development and Environment Cooperation Annual Consultation of 2021 held at Royal Norwegian Embassy in Beijing. The consultation was moderated by Norwegian Development Counsellor Mr. Knut Arild Thonstad and Division Director Ms. Zhao Jie from Ministry of Commerce, PRC. Representatives from China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED), Foreign Environment Cooperation Centre of Ministry of Ecology and Environment (FECO), BCRC China/SCRCAP and Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Science attended the consultation and made progress report on five Sino-Norwegian cooperation projects.

Dr. Yuan Chen, Chief of the Regional Chemicals Management Branch, BCRC China/SCRCAP and technical assistant Weiyu Lin attended the consultation on behalf of the project team of Sino-Norwegian cooperation project on capacity building for reducing plastic and microplastic pollution (SINOPLAST). Dr. Yuan Chen reported progress and future plan of the project. Mr. Christoffer Grønstad, the Environment Counsellor of Norwegian Embassy in Beijing appreciated the outcomes of the project so far and BCRC China/SCRCAP’s important role in communicating cutting-edge scientific findings and technology for environmental protection domestically and internationally. The Chinese side and the Norwegian side exchanged updates on priorities in global environment cooperation and possible new projects between the countries, and general concerns about project review, budget, financial risk management, Covid-19 risk management and cross-cutting issues.
