On May 22, At K 2025, the World’s No.1 Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber, a groundbreaking sustainability initiative is being launched. For the first time, Messe Düsseldorf will implement a comprehensive reusable cup system across all restaurants and bars at the event. This pilot project is powered by Borealis’ advanced foamable polypropylene based on OMV’s ReOil® chemically recycled feedstock. Cups will be rinsed on-site and returned to circulation, while any disposed of in general waste will be collected and recycled. Unused cups will be donated for further use.
