On June 12, Changes have been approved by councilors in Cheshire West and Chester, UK, that will see updates to how often households can visit recycling sites. Starting in April 2026, the seven Household Waste Recycling Centers (HWRC) operated by the area’s council will be managed by its wholly owned company, Cheshire West Recycling (CWR). A spokesperson commented that feedback led to the change that will now allow households to visit recycling sites 30 times in a 12-month period. “These 30 visits can be used in any way over the 12-month period, for example, spread out over 12 months or condensed into a shorter time, depending on people’s need,” said the spokesperson.
