On June 9, British Columbia, Canada, Announced Opening of New Transfer Station. “This new transfer station will provide a convenient option for residents to dispose of waste and access a wide range of new recycling opportunities,” said Kevin Paterson, RDEK’s General Manager of Engineering and Environmental Services. Additionally, the site will host a Household Hazardous Waste Depot plus recycling options for oil, electronics, appliances, propane tanks, batteries, and more. The site will also consist of the Recycle BS program for paper, cardboard, glass, and more.
