The Electronic Equipment Disposal, Recycling and Reuse Bill aims to create a legal system for collecting, sorting and recycling e-scrap nationwide. Sponsored by Senator Peris Tobiko, the proposed law would require anyone producing e-scrap to use designated local collection points.
