On October 12, Scottish firm Impact Recycling has received a follow-on investment of EUR 3.8 million from venture capital company IW Capital. The funding will help the recycler expand its patented separation technology and scale operations across Europe. Impact Recycling, based in Grangemouth, is known for its water-based density separation process called the Baffled Oscillation Separation System. The system, developed in 2014, separates mixed plastic waste into two high-purity output streams.
