• The propaganda activity for e-waste collecting demonstration sites in the selected community —— Xintai community was hold in 24 September 2008. The communities assisted to organize this propaganda activity. The participants from local environmental protection bureau, communities, primary schools, kindergartens attended the propaganda, the citizens from the nearby communities actively joined in it, and the local TV reported it. Through the propaganda, some e-wastes were collected on-spot, information on e-waste was delivered and the environmental consciousness of citizens were enhanced.
• To improve the consciousness on e-waste recycling among the campus, the propaganda activity for e-waste recycling was hold in Suzhou Institute of Technology and Science during 1st-6th December 2008. Through this propaganda activity, 50 pieces of questionnaire were filled by the students and several waste cell phones, accessories and other small-scale e-waste were collected.

During the propaganda activity on e-waste collection in Suzhou in Sept 2008, the volunteers provided information service for the communities in the e-waste collecting demonstration sites.

The children from the selected community attended the propaganda activity on e-waste collection and signed in the banner to support the e-waste collecting demonstration in Suzhou in Sept, 2008.
