In order to implement the “Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste”and relevant regulations, to promote the resources recycling, to save energy and prevent environmental pollution in the process ofwaste electromechanical equipment dismantling, utilization and treatment, andto regulate the construction of waste electromechanical equipment dismantling disposal areas, “Technical Specifications on Environmental Protection in Concentrated Disassemble and Disposal Areas of Waste Electromechanical Equipment (trial)” was formulated.Thetechnical specificationswas approved by the former state environmental protection administration on August 15, 2005 and implemented on September 1^st, 2005.Thetechnical specificationsareapplicable to pollution prevention and environmental protection management of planning, construction and operation of waste electromechanical equipment concentrated dismantling and disposal areas.
