In order to standardize the qualification permit work of waste electrical and electronic products treatment andto prevent environmental pollution by waste electrical electronic products treatment, according to “Law of the People's Republic of China on Administrative Permission”, “Law of the People's Republic of China on the Prevention and Control of Environmental Pollution by Solid Waste” and “The Regulations on the Administration of Recovery and Disposal of Waste Electronic and Electronic Equipment”,”Administrative Measure on Qualification Permit of the Treatment and Disposal of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment”was adopted at the 2^ndmeeting of MEPon November 5^th ,2010, and came into force on January 1st , 2011.The Regulationsstipulated the application condition,application process and qualification certificate requirements of applying for waste electrical and electronic productstreatment enterprises. Meanwhile,theRegulationsrequired that the municipal environmental authoritieshave supervision managementfunctions to the enterprises.
