From 17 to 19 February, the United Nations Environment Programme International Environmental Technology Centre (UNEP-IETC) organized UNEP Global Dialogue and Youth Day on Circular Economy Model of Waste Management in Osaka, Japan. The event aimed to bring together key stakeholders, including policymakers, the private sector, academia, civil society and youth, to promote dialogue and discuss circular economy model of waste management. BCRC China assisted UNEP-IETC in inviting students from Peking University, Xiamen University, East China Normal University, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Shanxi University, Chongqing Jiaotong University, and other Chinese universities to participate online. Mr. Jinhui Li, Executive Director of BCRC China, was invited to give a presentation on the development of “Zero-waste city” in China, policy innovations, and the activities of the International Network of Zero-waste city.
