Metal based solid waste and heavy hazardous waste have significant environment-resource dual properties. Metal-based solid waste/heavy and hazardous waste, full volume, high value, large-scale use of traction metal resources regeneration, metal safety, metal pollution prevention, high-quality development, high-level protection, dual carbon strategy and many other topics. The extraction of low content rare and precious metals and the removal of low content highly toxic metals from metal-based solid waste/heavy hazardous waste are the necessary requirements and important contents of full high-value utilization. This sub-forum focused on mineral processing tailings, smelting waste, metallurgical dust and mud, waste catalysts, waste batteries, electroplating sludge, pickling sludge and other bulk metal based solid waste and heavy hazardous waste, and discussed the extraction and recovery of rare and precious metals, removal and stabilization of highly toxic metals, fire, wet and bioleaching technologies, processes and equipment for the safe utilization of detoxification residues. The technology, process and equipment for rapid precipitation, separation and purification of target metals and preparation of recycled materials of liquid phase system are discussed, providing theoretical and technical support for the reduction, recycling, harmless, materialization and product utilization of metal-based solid waste/heavy and hazardous waste as well as the evaluation, calculation and trading of synergistic carbon reduction efficiency.
