Li-an Duo Professor is a doctoral supervisor, Bohai Scholar and the leading person of ecology in the first level and stress biology of Tianjin Normal University. He is primarily engaged in studies on safe disposal of solid waste, pollution remediation and ground cover greening. He has directed more than 10 projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation and key projects of provincial level. More than 170 papers have been published in academic journals, such as Journal of Hazardous Materials, Bioresource Technology, Environmental Pollution and Chemosphere. He has been authorized 167 national invention patents, 7 of which have been transferred. He now professionally serves as expert of Chemical and Waste Environmental Management Think Tank of Basel Convention Regional Center for Asia and the Pacific, vice chairman of ecological environment committee of China National Association of Engineering Consultants, vice chairman of the Ecological Society of Tianjin, managing director of Tianjin Society of Natural Resources, and consulting expert of Tianjin government’s policy decisions.
