Professor of University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Executive Deputy Director of National Environmental Protection Mercury Pollution Control Engineering Technology Center, Deputy Director of Heavy Metal Special Committee of Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, Consultant of international organizations such as United Nations Industrial Development Organization,United Nations Development Program, and member of expert committee of domestic relevant ministries and academic organizations. For many years, focus on heat treatment, low temperature plasma, environmental functional materials in solid (crisis) waste disposal and resource recovery technology research, and based on the the requirements of national implementation of the international convention, focusing on mercury pollution control, medical waste and fly ash disposal, advancing technology research and technological system construction. He has presided more than 40 key research projects from China's Ministry of Ecological Environment, Ministry of Science and Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences,etc.. applied more than 50 patents, published 15 monograph and over 100 papers, hosted and participated in more than 20 standards issued by country, industry and local level, gained 15 technology and talent awards.
