Dr. Weixiang Wu is a professor of the College of Environmental & Resource Sciences, and director of the institute of Environmental Polution Control, Zhejiang University, China. Dr. Wu has led more than 30 provincial and national major projects. With a background in environmental microbiology, his research mainly focuses on MSW source separation, reduction and utilization. He has published more than 130 papers in EST, WR, etc. His work has contributed to the large-scale applications of OFMSW utilization and related wastewater treatment technologies in China. He was awarded a First Prize in Science and Technology Development and a First Prize in Natural Science in Zhejiang Province, and a Second Prize in Science and Technology Development in China, respectively.
