Ecological Green Storage, Landfill and Risk Management of Solid Waste

Time:

Address:

According to Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Comprehensively Promoting the Construction of a Beautiful China?the “reinforcement of solid waste retreatment” and “strictly prevention and control of environmental risk” are identified as two main projects. Storage sites, landfills, tailings ponds and other facilities have undertaken more than half solid waste treatment mission as an unreplaceable basic environmental equipment in solid waste treatment. Meanwhile, field house has been stored more than 100 billion tons of hazardous wastes over years, becoming a significant source of environment risk.
The unstable operation and accelerated deterioration of storage sites, landfills, tailings ponds and other facilities not only lead to an imbalance in solid waste disposal capacity but also result in the leakage of the huge quantities of hazardous substances. Its long-term service and regulation is a key area of cross-disciplinary research for enhancing solid waste treatment and strict prevention and control of environmental risk, as well as a key field of support of impulse build beauty China. This sub-forum focuses on the study of solid waste landfill, storage, pollution prevention, long service life and risk prevention and control of tailings disposal processes. The exploration of solid waste storage, landfills and tailings disposal process pollution prevention, long-term regulatory mechanisms, synergies for reducing pollution and carbon, intellectualization and informatization operation, risk monitoring and warning, risk emergency management and other aspects of research progress, application status, existed problem and solution ways. Its impulse solid waste storage equipment long-term service, risk prevention and intellectualization and informatization operation, enhance to build an intelligent, green, safety solid waste treatment usage disposal environmental infrastructure system, providing a highly support of build beaty China key project mission application.
