Qi WANG

Wang Qi, an expert in plastic processing engineering, is a member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, a professor at Sichuan University, and a doctoral supervisor. She also serves as the editor-in-chief of the journals "SusMat (Sustainable Materials)" and "Polymer Materials Science & Engineering". In addition, she holds positions such as Deputy Director of the Science and Technology Advisory Committee of the China Plastics Processing Industry Association, and Chief Scientist of the Advanced Manufacturing and Processing of Plastics, a strategically prioritized discipline at Sichuan University. Previously, she was the Director of the State Key Laboratory of Polymer Materials Engineering (Sichuan University) and the International Representative (China) of the International Polymer Processing Society.
 With a long-term dedication to the research and engineering applications of novel principles, technologies, and equipment for polymer material processing, as well as environmentally friendly polymer materials, Professor Wang has been granted over 90 authorized invention patents and has published more than 540 academic journal articles. Her achievements have been recognized through numerous awards, including two National Technological Invention Awards (Second Prize), one China Patent Award, one provincial and ministerial Special Award, five First Prizes, the Guanghua Engineering Science and Technology Award, the Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award, the Sichuan Province Science and Technology Outstanding Contribution Award, the Outstanding Figure in China's Plastics Industry, and the National March 8th Red Banner Award.
