The 21st International Conference on Waste Management and Technology
The International Conference on Waste Management and Technology (ICWMT), initiated by the Basel Convention Regional Centre for Asia and the Pacific, has been a leading global forum since its establishment in 2005. For two decades, it has been dedicated to driving innovation in waste management concepts, facilitating technological breakthroughs, and fostering policy collaboration to advance global sustainable development.The 21st edition of this conference (ICWMT 21) will be held in Shanghai,China from June 27 to 30, 2026. It will focus on promoting the development of "Zero-waste City" and addressing the management of solid waste and new pollutants. The program will include plenary sessions, numerous parallel sessions, technical tours, and an exhibition. We cordially invite experts and scholars worldwide to participate in this pivotal event.
