Zongguo WEN is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the School of Environment of Tsinghua University, he is also the secretary-general of the Ecological Civilization Research Center and the director of the Circular Economy Industry Research Center. He was selected as the second batch of National Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talents under the "Ten Thousand Plan", the National Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Science Fund, the National Environmental Protection Professional and Technical Young Top Talents, the National Young and Middle-aged Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talents Program, the 17th MAO Yisheng Beijing Youth Science and Technology Award, Tsinghua University Academic Newcomer Award, etc.

He mainly engaged in industry energy conservation and emission reduction technology management and policy analysis, environmental mutual/Internet of Things technology and system integration development, has co-published more than 100 academic papers, more than 30 national computer software copyright. He has presided over or participated in more than 20 national projects such as the National 973 Plan, science and Technology Support Plan, Natural Science Foundation, and public welfare special projects of environmental protection, and won 1 second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award and 4 first prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology progress of the Ministry of Education. He served as a member of the National Resources and Environment Technology forecasting expert Group, a decision-making consulting expert in the field of resources and environment such as the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Environmental Protection, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the National Standardization Committee, the Energy Conservation Center, and a member of the resources and environment professional Committee of more than 10 institutions such as the China Circular Economy Association. He has undertaken more than 20 national implementation plans or planning consultations on the construction of ecological civilization pilot demonstration zone, park recycling transformation, low-carbon industrial park, ecological industrial demonstration park, circular economy demonstration city, and urban mineral demonstration base.
