Shicheng ZHANG is professor and PhD supervisor of Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, Fudan University, director of Shanghai Municipal Organic Solid Waste Pollution Control and Resource Management Platform, member of Pacific Rim University Alliance Sustainable Waste Management Program Core Group.She is an associate editor of Environmental Engineering Research, Processes, Biomass, Editorial Board member of Environmental Health Engineering and Energy Environmental Protection, guest editor of Bioresource Technology and Green Chemistry. He received his Ph.D. from Northeastern University in 2001. From October 2001 to September 2005 and from August 2007 to August 2008, he worked as a postdoctoral researcher in Peking University, Tsinghua University and Iowa State University. January - February 2019, Senior Research Scholar, University of York, UK. He is mainly engaged in the research of organic solid waste pollution control and resource utilization, biomass waste resource utilization, environmental catalysis and other aspects. Presided over and participated in more than 30 scientific research projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, the National Nature Foundation, the Ministry of Education, and the Shanghai Science and Technology Commission. He has published more than 200 papers in core academic journals at home and abroad, more than 8500 SCI citations, H index 52; 11 papers were listed in the top 1% of ESI highly cited papers, and gave more than 60 conference reports and invited reports; Applied for 43 patents and authorized 14; he participated in the preparation of 6 monographs.
