Huiyan ZHANG is Deputy Dean, Professor, School of Energy and Environment, Southeast University, National Outstanding Youth, Jiangsu Province Jieqing, Huo Yingdong Outstanding young teachers. He is mainly engaged in the research of biomass high value, solid waste resource, carbon materials and soil thermal remediation. He won the first Youth Science and Technology Award of China Renewable Energy Society and the first Youth Science and Technology Award of China Power Engineering Society. He has presided over 3 National Natural fund projects and more than 10 other provincial and ministerial level projects. He has published more than 100 SCI indexed papers in Science journals, and more than 3,000 SCI citations. More than 30 domestic and foreign invention patents have been authorized. In the past three years, the first and second winners have won the special Gold Medal of the Geneva International Invention Exhibition, the first prize of Natural Science of the Ministry of Education, and the China Patent Excellence Award.
