Junhua LI is professor of Air Pollution Control Teaching and Research Institute, Director of National Engineering Research Center for Collaborative Control of Air Pollutants and Greenhouse Gases. The main research fields include air pollution chemistry and control technology research, flue gas carbon reduction and comprehensive utilization, industrial flue gas desulfurization, denitrification and mercury removal, automotive exhaust purification catalyst research and development, volatile organic compounds control technology and environmental functional materials design and development. As a young expert in the field of air pollution control research in China, Professor Junhua LI has conducted systematic research on the basic theory and key control technology principle of NOx control in fixed source coal flue gas and thin burn motor vehicle exhaust, as well as the catalytic oxidation mechanism of greenhouse gas methane and volatile organic pollutants, aiming at the actual situation of air pollution in China. In addition, it is in the forefront of the international research on NOx pollution control technology, and the research results have been highly praised by the academic circles at home and abroad. Its main research results in coal-fired power plants, lean burning vehicles, industrial furnaces and other industries to achieve NOx and VOCs emission reduction industrial applications, greatly enhance the international competitiveness of China's environmental protection industry in the core technology, the success of China's thermal power plant NOx emission standards control within the world's most stringent emission limits.
