Nengwu ZHU

Professor
Nengwu ZHU is professor, doctoral supervisor and deputy Dean of School of Environment and Energy, South China University of Technology. He received his PhD from Huazhong Agricultural University in 2003 and worked as a visiting scholar at Rutgers University in the United States from 2010 to 2011. He is mainly engaged in the research of solid waste treatment and resource recycling, involving waste electronic products, kitchen waste, hazardous waste and other fields. He presided over and participated in more than 50 national key R&D programs, National Natural Science Foundation, Guangdong Science and Technology Program, Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, Guangzhou industry-university-research collaborative innovation major projects, etc., and published more than 130 SCI papers in Angew.Chem., Appl.Catal.B-Environ., RCR, etc. More than 20 invention patents have been authorized, and 3 monographs/textbooks have been published.
