Tao ZHANG is professor and doctoral supervisor at Sun Yat sen University, recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China's Outstanding Youth Fund. He mainly engaged in research on environmental exposure to new pollutants and health. He has led multiple national level scientific research projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation of China; and participate in projects such as the National Science and Technology Support Program, the Central Heavy Metal Pollution Prevention and Control Special Project, and the International Science and Technology Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology. He published over 80 papers in renowned environmental journals such as Environmental Science&Technology and Water Research. served as an editorial board member for Eco Environment&Health and Ecotoxicology and Environmental Safety journals, as well as the first youth editorial board member for the Chinese core journal Environmental Chemistry. he served as a member of the Analytical Toxicology Professional Committee of the Chinese Society of Toxicology and a member of the Environmental Chemistry Branch of the Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. He has won the first prize (ranked 5th) and second prize (ranked 2nd) of the Ministry of Education's Natural Science Award, as well as the second prize (ranked 1st) of Guangdong Province's Natural Science Award.
