Tong Xin is an associate professor at the College of Urban and Environmental Sciences, Peking University. Her research focuses on industrial geography and industrial ecology, with empirical studies primarily concentrated on the development of Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) systems for EEE and automotive products, and their impact on the technological transition of the circular economy in the manufacturing sector. Additionally, the research also explores the practice of local industrial symbiosis systems and the planning of eco-industrial parks in China.
