Wei Qiao, a professor and doctoral supervisor at the College of Engineering, China Agricultural University. My main research focuses on anaerobic treatment and resource utilization of organic solid waste. I have conducted studies on anaerobic digestion of agricultural waste, sewage sludge, food waste, and coffee grounds. Specifically, I have researched high-temperature/high-ammonia nitrogen/high-solid anaerobic digestion processes, high-solid anaerobic membrane bioreactors, micronutrients enhancement, in-situ bio-desulfurization of biogas, and the deep inactivation of pathogens and elimination of antibiotics in (super) high-temperature and mesophilic anaerobic conditions.
