Liu Kang, Ph.D. of the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences, "Hong Kong Scholar (The University of Hong Kong)", a researcher at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and a Senior Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His main research interests include solid waste treatment and resource utilization, urban mineral strategic metal green extraction and low-carbon circulation, and full life cycle assessment of solid waste. He has published over twenty papers as first author/corresponding author in environmental journals such as Environmental Science & Technology and Green Chemistry, and has successively presided over/participated in the implementation of multiple National Natural Science Foundation projects and national key research and development programs.
