Anupam Khajuria is an expert in circular policies and practices based in Tokyo, Japan. Her expertise lies in environmental research with a focus on waste and water management, the circular economy and sustainable development. She obtained her PhD in Environmental Engineering from The University of Osaka (formerly known as Osaka University) and subsequently worked as a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Science Tokyo (formerly known as Tokyo Institute of Technology), Japan. Prior to joining UNU-IAS, she worked for nearly 10 years as a researcher at the United Nations Centre for Regional Development (UNCRD)-DSDG/UN DESA in Nagoya, Japan.
