Hu Yanjun, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, has been selected as a Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholars Program of the Ministry of Education, Executive Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory of Green Chemical Synthesis and Conversion Technology, and a Leading Talent in Science and Technology Innovation of the "Ten-thousand Talents Program" of Zhejiang Province, among other honors. His research mainly focuses on the basic and applied research and technical equipment for the high-value utilization of biomass and bulk solid waste, as well as the resource recycling of retired new energy solid waste. In recent years, he has presided over more than 10 national and provincial/ministerial projects; holds more than 20 authorized patents as the first inventor; and has received scientific and technological awards including the Second Prize of Zhejiang Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, the Second Prize of Tianjin Science and Technology Progress Award, the First Prize of China General Chamber of Commerce Science and Technology Progress Award, the Engineering Thermochemistry Innovation Award of the Chemical Industry and Engineering Society of China, and the Gold Award of the Inventor Entrepreneurship Project of the China Association of Inventors. He has also published 3 academic monographs and more than 70 high-level academic papers as the first author/corresponding author.
