Hexing Li is a professor at Shanghai University of Electric Power, a National Young Top Talent and a Leading Talent of Shanghai. He serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of Appl. Catal. B Environ., a member of the Chemical Engineering Department of the Ministry of Education, the honorary director of the Chinese Photocatalysis Committee, the chief scientist of the China Electricity Council, the chairman of the Shanghai Electric Power Industry Association, the director of the "111 Introducing Foreign Experts Program Base" of the National Foreign Experts Bureau, the director of the Key Laboratory of the Ministry of Education and the International Joint Laboratory. He conducts research on environmental catalysis and has been responsible for major national natural science projects, international cooperation major projects and key national research and development plan projects. He has published 29 papers in Sci. Adv., Nat. Sustain., Nat. Commun., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Adv. Mater., Energy Environ. Sci. and has been selected as the Highly Cited Researcher awards. He has edited 2 English monographs, obtained 63 invention patents, and formulated 2 group standards. His achievements have been applied to the site of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the main venue of the Hangzhou Asian Games, and he has won the Shanghai Natural Science Award, the First Prize of China Industry-University-Research Cooperation Innovation.
