Yingying Qi, Associate Professor/Doctoral Supervisor of Xi'an University of Science and Technology. Her research primarily focuses on low-carbon and high-value conversion of organic solid waste, resource recovery from electronic waste, and the design and application of solid waste-based functional sensing materials. She has been selected for the Fujian Provincial Higher Education Outstanding Youth Talent Support Program and the Fujian Provincial Higher Education New Century Excellent Talent Support Program. She has presided over more than 10 scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation projects, projects of Shaanxi Provincial Science and Technology Department, projects of Fujian Provincial Science and Technology Department. As the corresponding or first author, she has published over 70 SCI papers in academic journals such as Journal of Hazardous Materials, Biosensors and Bioelectronics, Waste Management, Chemical Engineering Journal, Journal of Cleaner Production, Sensors & Actuators: B. Chemical, Chemistry-A European Journal, Separation and Purification Technology, Talanta, and Microchimica Acta, among which four papers have been recognized as ESI Highly Cited Papers. She has also been granted eight Chinese national invention patents as the first inventor.
