Assoc. Prof. Hui ZHOU

Hui Zhou is an Associate Professor at the Department of Energy and Power Engineering, Tsinghua University. He mainly studies the theory of heterogeneous thermochemical reactions and mass-energy transfer, and the high-value utilization technology of renewable carbon sources (biomass, solid waste, and carbon dioxide). He has published more than 100 papers on related achievements in journals such as Nature Catalysis and Nature Communications, and have been cited by more than 7,000 times. He was selected into the National Overseas High-level Talent Introduction Program, China's Top Ten New Science and Technology Figures, etc., and won the Engineering Thermochemistry Youth Award of the Chemical Industry Society of China, the Sustainable Chemistry and Engineering Chair Award of the American Chemical Society, and the Beijing Outstanding Youth Fund. He is currently the Executive Editor of the SCI journal Carbon Capture Science & Technology (Elsevier, IF = 10.4)
