Li Qian, Professor at Xi’an University of Architecture and Technology, is a Young Scholar of The Yangtze River Scholars Program. Her research focuses on low-carbon wastewater treatment and resource recovery. She currently serves as a vice chair of International Water Association (IWA) Young Water Professionals China Chapter (IWA YWP China), Overseas Research Fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), Youth Editorial Board of Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering. She has published 50 papers as the first/corresponding author; obtained 7 authorized invention patents; won the first prize for scientific and technological progress in Shaanxi Province, two Grand prizes in Shaanxi provincial science and technology prize of university.
