Minsong Lin, PhD, Senior Engineer at the Institute of Solid Waste Pollution Control Technology, Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences.
He has directed or participated in more than 40 research projects, including the National Key R&D Program, major consulting projects of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and commissioned research projects. He has led or participated in formulating the implementation plans for the “Zero-Waste City” initiative in various cities and regions such as Gansu Province, Zhuhai, Lanzhou, Yichun, Sanmenxia, Haixi and Jiujiang. As the first completer, he has completed one effectiveness evaluation of a national mandatory standard, and led or participated in formulating three provincial standards. Several policy proposals and special reports have been approved by national and ministerial-level leaders. He has authored or co-authored more than 20 academic papers and published 3 academic monographs.
