Professor Yue Dongbei is a Tenured Professor and Vice Dean at Tsinghua University's School of Environment, where he earned his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees. His key roles include Chair of Tsinghua's Resource & Environment Degree Sub-committee, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Environmental Protection for Iron & Steel Industry, and Director of the Office of Environmental Sciences under China's Ministry of Education.

 He has led over 20 national/provincial research projects, published 100+ academic papers, and holds 23 Chinese and 2 U.S. patents. His honors include China's National Technology Invention Award (Second Class), Environmental Protection Science & Technology Award (First Class), and recognition as a National Outstanding Young Environmental Professional.
