Prof. Xiaohua Zhu

Zhu Xiaohua, male, born in May 1978, is a Professorate Senior Engineer. He currently serves as Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Iron and Steel Industry Environmental Protection. His research primarily focuses on theoretical studies, technological R&D, formulation of industry standard, and engineering applications in the fields of pollution control, carbon reduction, and resource recycling within the iron and steel industry.
He has led two National Key R&D Program projects, three National Key R&D Program sub-projects, two National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects, one provincial/ministerial-level project, and one major project for Chinese central state-owned enterprises, technological achievements have been implemented in multiple large-scale iron and steel enterprises across China, delivering notable environmental, social, and economic benefits while providing robust support for the green transformation of the industry.
With extensive experience in both research and engineering, he has directed major projects such as Pangang Group Company and Rizhao Steel. His academic contributions include over 10 published papers, 7 academic monographs, 15 authorized patents, and 5 provincial/ministerial-level awards.
