Bing QIN is a National Model Worker, Expert Receiving Special Allowance from the State Council, Hundreds-Ten Thousands-Millions Talent Program Candidate of SASAC, Professor-level Senior Engineer, Doctoral Supervisor, Senior Expert, Outstanding Contribution Expert, Strategic Scientist of SINOPEC Group, and Visiting Scholar at Case Western Reserve University (USA). She serves as a technical committee member for the 22nd SPE Middle East Oil & Gas Conference. Her main research areas include the research and development of green petrochemical and materials, refinery solid waste treatment, and soil remediation technology in the petrochemical field. She has hosted three National Science and Technology Major Project and completed three “Ten Dragons” key projects from SINOPEC. The environmentally friendly and biodegradable chemicals she developed have been successfully used for soil remediation at more than 20 decommissioned well sites and pollution control at multiple active petrochemical production sites. She provided environmental technical support for the research and development of green chemical technologies of SINOPEC such as HPPO, PAO and Caprolactam Production, solving the environmental compliance challenges for project implementation, and providing reliable support for the application of complete technologies. She holds more than 100 authorized invention patents and has published over 60 papers. She has rewarded one first prize for national scientific and technological progress awards, the Gold Medal of International Trade Fair for Ideas, Inventions and New Products, Nuremberg, and more than 10 science and technology awards of provincial, ministerial, and industry association.
