Kai Wu, Professor of Tongji University. His main research interests include the manufacturing and service of extreme complex environment engineering materials, the characterization of multi-scale structures, and the integration of engineering material structure and function. He has received funding from the National Natural Science Foundation of China for the Young Investigator Project, the General Project, and the Young Scientist Project. He has been selected for the Shanghai Young Science and Technology Star Program and has won the Shanghai Science and Technology Progress Award and the Huaxia Construction Technology Award. He has published over 70 SCI-indexed papers as the first author/co-author, has obtained 20 patents, edited 4 textbooks, and participated in the compilation of 2 national standards, 2 industry standards, and 2 landmark standards.
