Researcher Yong Qin

Yong Qin, Ph.D., is a Distinguished Researcher at the Innovation Center of Yangtze River Delta, Zhejiang University, and a dual-appointed faculty member at the College of Environmental and Resource Sciences, Zhejiang University. His research focuses on the resource recovery of organic solid wastes and related pollution prevention technologies. He has led or participated in more than ten projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China, subprojects of the National Key R&D Program, Zhejiang Province’s “Pioneer” and “Leading Goose” R&D initiatives, and key R&D projects of Zhejiang Province. He has served as a principal contributor in drafting six national, agricultural industry, and provincial standards. He has published over 20 research articles in leading journals in the field, such as Renewable and Sustainable Energy Reviews, and holds seven authorized Chinese invention patents. He currently serves as a young editorial board member for the journal Environmental Pollution and Control.
