Kan Lili has been engaged in research on new cement-based materials, solid waste treatment and disposal, and comprehensive resource utilization for a long time. The project "Collaborative Disposal and Resource Utilization of Solid Waste Containing Heavy Metals and Free Calcium Oxide in Ecological Cementitious Materials" completed with her participation won the third prize of Shanghai Natural Science Award in 2013. Hosted the course "Civil Engineering Materials" and selected national level planning textbooks. Published 31 academic papers in domestic and foreign journals, covering the self-healing performance of cement-based materials, heavy metal solidification technology, and other fields. In 2023, an expert report will be presented at the National Academic Exchange Conference on Sustainable Concrete, and in 2025, the development achievements of ecological high ductility concrete will be elaborated at a summer camp activity.
